Pullups and other Progress

I've still been taking things easy. My arm seems to be almost better. I have been doing a few pullups and pushups. I still haven't gotten back on the treadmill, but soon I'm sure.

Within a day or two I hope to be back to doing 10 pullups, or somewhere around there, as long as my arm feels okay. I think climbing the rope is making my fingers hurt also, so I'll have to keep an eye on that.

Rope Climbing and Pullups Again

 I haven't updated for a while.  I was making progress on my pullup goals, but I lost some of that.

I have started again recently, and was pretty quickly able to get back to doing 8 pullups.  I think I could do more.  My right forearm is sore currently, so I'm trying not to push things too hard.

I have also been climbing a rope.  This is on hold for the same reason.

For now, I will switch to doing pushups or other things.

I'm also hoping to get back to using my treadmill a few times a week.  I did that for a while, but stopped over the summer at some point.

Recent Updates - Pull-ups and Spartan Race Signup

 We have signed up to do a Spartan race again in May.  I have started running on our treadmill and will hopefully be also running outside soon.


I have also challenged myself to do 20 pull-ups.  I was able to do 12 about  week ago.  I have also done one day where I started at 10 pull-ups and throughout the day did 9, 8, 7 etc. for a total of 55.  Then about a week later I did the same thing, starting at 11 for a total of 66.  That is, I think, by far the most I have ever done in one day.  12 at once is also my current record.

I'm going to try to do 13 today and maybe do the countdown if I am feeling not too sore.  I'll try to post again soon about my progress there.
