Insanity Workout

I just did an insanity workout with my kids.  They are six, four, and three years old.  The six year old made it all the way through.  He wouldn't admit that he was tired, but he kept stopping and saying that he already knew how to do the exercises so he was going to wait for the next one.

It was a lot of fun watching them try to do all the exercises and stretches.

Work exercise and leg workouts

I have been doing 2-3 of my work exercises for the last few days.  I started trying to do more leg workouts.  I have an old backpacking pack.  I put some weights in it so it weighs about 35 -40 pounds and I hold one of my 45 pound weights in my hands and do some squats.  I have done one set of that for the last three days.

Work exercise explanation

During the day while I'm working I stop every hour, when I'm not right in the middle of something and do one set of lifting or other exercise.

I have an app on my phone that chimes every hour during my work hours.

I have a few weights so I can do curls and a few things like that.  I also do push ups and sit ups and several other things.

I did 4 sets during the day today.

Today's exercise

Today I did 3 hourly sets during the day and I did 25 minutes on the elliptical at night.  I did about 1500 revolutions at 10 resistance.

New Blog

I decided to start a blog to post all my exercise.  I will post a small article each time I exercise so I have a record of it.  I will also write some other articles about why I exercise and what techniques I use to motivate myself.
